I’m a full-time illustrator, comic maker, children’s book illustrator, podcaster, and art teacher who found his way back to art after studying business and working as an executive recruiter. Today, I create playful illustrations inspired by old comic strips, animation, my family, bunnies, skeletons, and Old West sheriffs. I’m represented by Moe Ferrara at Triada US Literary Agency.
My journey has been shaped by curiosity, persistence, and a love for storytelling. I spent 20 years relentlessly pursuing drawing lessons, character critiques, and conversations with the best of the best to be able to support my family with a career in the arts. I’m married with three kids and a Bernedoodle puppy. Also, I’m unnaturally afraid of snakes and a firm believer that The Goonies is the best movie ever made.
Most of my art is created traditionally using pencil, ink, and watercolor, along with digital tools for professional work with plenty of blood, sweat, and tears along the way. Through my work, I aim to inspire creativity and connection through story and character.
